September 2nd – November 6th
Tuesday’s @ 10am or Thursday’s @ 10am
Ages 0-6.
Read one book, sing songs, and do a craft, scarf play, or simple yoga with Mrs. Molly!

Homeschool storytimes
Every other Wednesday @ 2pm

November 5th + 19th
For ages 6-10.
One of our local homeschooling mom’s, Andrea Fitzpatrick, is providing a homeschooler storytime for homeschoolers in the area! All are welcome, of course, whether they are homeschooled or not!
Parents must attend with their kids.
No need to register.

September 27th @ 10am – Party Pig Storytime
In this extra special storytime, we are going to have a few miniature pigs (they are house trained) come and visit us at the library! Pet them and take pictures with them while we learn about them!

October 8th @ 5:30pm – Mini Pumpkin Decorating Family Craft
Come have fun with the family during this fun family craft night! Decorate some mini pumpkins however you like and bring them home to decorate for the season!

October 25th @ 11:00am + 12:30pm – Spooky Halloween Science Lab (2 sessions)
Get hands on performing some super cool science experiments! Cool-ology is coming to help us experience more STEM at our library through fun Halloween explosions and colorful reactions!
Please register each child separately.

October 27th – November 1st – Trick-or-Treat at the Library
Say trick-or-treat at our front desk and earn a Halloween goodie bag! (No candy included, just toys!)

November 12th @ 5:00pm – 8:00pm – An Evening of Fall Crafts
Drop-in anytime between 5pm and 8pm and do some crafts in our activity room! The whole family is welcome to attend!
Take your time, do one craft, or do them all!

November 22nd @ 10:00am – Thanksgiving Storytime
We are having a very special Thanksgiving Storytime! Join Mr. Molly, read several books, sing some Thanksgiving songs, and do a few Thanksgiving crafts!

December 13th @ 10:00am – Mrs. Claus Storytime
Come meet Mrs. Claus in our annual Mrs. Claus Storytime!! Mrs. Claus will read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas and then we will move to our craft tables. During craft time, each child will receive a very special gift when they come up to meet her and take a picture with her.
Please register each child separately. Space is limited.

Harwinton Public Library offers monthly programs for teens, as well as young adult books, audiobooks, games, and graphic novels.
September 17th @ 6pm – Studio Ghibli Night
The beginning of the school year can be stressful, so come chill at the library! Watch a Studio Ghibli Movie of your choosing on our big screen and eat some popcorn! Leave with a goodie bag full of Studio Ghibli goodies!

October 22nd @ 6pm – Bob Ross Painting
Copy Bob Ross on our big screen and create a beautiful work of art to take home! All supplies provided.

November 19th @ 6pm – Holiday Card Making
No matter what holiday you celebrate, it’s always nice to gift your family and friends a homemade card. Come prepare for the holiday season and make some homemade cards! Listen to music and chat with friends in this fun crafting session.

December 17th @ 6pm – Christmas Party
Christmas party!!!!! Come play some chill games and win prizes! Do a craft, listen to music, and hang out with friends!
Play Christmas song bingo, make a gingerbread house snow globe, and do the snowball challenge!
