Librarian's Corner

As Summer winds down, we’re looking ahead to a Fall calendar filled with programs, activities, and plenty of new releases from your favorite authors! Our Summer Hours come to an end after Labor Day. The Library will be open from 9:30 – 3:00 on Saturdays beginning September 6th.

Fall Story Times begin on September 2nd. Join Mrs. Molly on Tuesdays & Thursdays for great books, songs, activities and crafts. Homeschool Story Times continue biweekly on Wednesday afternoons. Stop in to share books, practice reading aloud, and meet some new friends. Teens, take a break from back-to-school stress and chill at our Studio Ghibli Night – we’ll provide the popcorn!

Make some room in your busy Fall schedule for some of our upcoming programs. Learn about Connecticut’s Bald Eagles with Ginny Apple of the DEEP. Look back on 48 years of fundraiser Quilts with Pat Green of the Harwinton Women’s Club. Or meet some adorable miniature pigs at our Party Pig Storytime!
